House Fire on February 28, 2009

The Disaster Action Team (DAT) was called to an apartment fire in Van Wert at about 10:30 PM on February 28, 2009. 3 members responded, arriving on the scene at about 11:00 PM. The Van Wert Fire Department had extinguished the fire, but was still on the scene cleaning up and making sure there were no remaining hot spots.
The DAT remained on the scene providing support to the fire fighters and extending aid to the family that lived in the house.
