Volunteer
The Red Cross depends on volunteers for the majority of their workers. Volunteers can work in a variety of areas, from helping out with bloodmobiles to serving with the Disaster Action Team (DAT), which responds to local disasters, to helping with national disasters, to helping as a hospital volunteer, to transporting blood, to working in the office for a few hours a week.

The Red Cross can use any skills you have, and has a number of free classes to teach you new skills that will enrich your volunteer activities.
